Back from the Bay City

Back in from San Francisco!  Great little trip!  The city and the people seemed beautiful to me, that from what little I got to see.  It was awesome to talk with fellow gamers all day.  Made a bunch of new contacts, both for myself and for Armchair General.  I learned a lot about the business behind the scenes, and talking to gaming developers and PR reps was an excellent experience.

Also met one totally voluptuous and sexy intelligent woman.  Who has a boyfriend and lives on the other side of the world.  Of course.

Also sadly, I missed meeting Veronica Belmont.  Really wanted to see her in person, get a photo with her.  She’s also a very groovy and attractive lady, also taken, and lives on the opposite end of the country.   Still, would’ve been fantastic I think to sit and talk tech geeky gaming things with her.

I’m working in my mind new effort to get back to North Carolina.  There are now many computer gaming companies in and around the Raleigh area where I used to live, and I would have the opportunity to get closer with them, and better the relationship I have now with The WarCry Network and CDV, for my writing career.  Gonna start hitting up the contacts I have there and see what I can make happen toward that goal.  Had another event happen here showing me that this is just not where I’m meant to be, so I gotta get myself back there.
